Welcome to Mysterious Land, a portal for some of my personal interests.
These include British folklore, ancient history and mythologies of various cultures, ancient monuments (stone circles etc), early church architecture and memorial brasses, cats, Pre-Raphaelite art, astronomy, music of Alan Parsons, Enya, Clannad, Loreena McKennit, Vangelis, Stephen Caudel.
There's not much here yet but I'll be adding more content here as and when time allows. In the meantime, to the left are links to some interests of mine, including a brief essay I once did on the worship of Hathor in Ancient Egypt and a fanlisting I made about the county of Northumberland in England.
